About Sims 2 objects:
All Objects on this Homepage
are compatible with "University" and "Nightlife".
Anyway I'll
always try to clone main game objects, otherwise indicated.
New objects for The Sims 2 are currently in Beta stage. They run
safely in The Sims 2, but you should use them at your own risk.
Recolored objects will require you to download and install the
CEP - Colour Options Enabler that can be found here:
Where to download:
WinZip
/ WinRar: I use both zip programs, depending on the size of the
file.
Objects: extract the file inside the zip/rar file
into My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads.
Clothing, Genetics and Make Up: extract the file
inside the zip/rar file into My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads
or if you have Body Shop installed into My Documents\EA Games\The
Sims 2 Body Shop\Downloads.
Houses: Open the zip/rar file and double click on
the file inside. It will automatically be extracted to the right
place in your game.
Terrains: extract the file inside the zip/rar file
into My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\SC4Terrains. After you imported
the terrain into your game, change the name of the pic to"Nxxx_Neighborhood"
and put it into in "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighorhoods\Nxxx.
xxx stands for the number of the neighborhood.
Poly
Count:
The
poly count shows the number of polygons that an object mesh is
made of. The Sims 2 is a low poly game which means that the objects
we use in the game should be made with the less amount of polygons
possible. Objects with a high number of polygons may cause problems
and slow down your game if you have an old computer. I will always
try to provide you low poly objects. You will find on this site
the poly count of every object you download.
Site
policy:
-Can
I put your downloads on another site?
No. Sorry, all items in Sims Interior Designs 2 are for personal
use only. I don't authorize anyone to offer my original creations
for download in their site or for profit in any method, even if
credit is given.
-Can I recolor your objects and distribute them on my site?
Feel free to recolor all free objects, but you may NOT offer the
mesh I made on your site or redistribute it in any way. This means
you have to put up a link back to Sims Interior Designs, because
your visitors need the mesh I made to be able to use your recolour.
Recolored items must be offered for free.
I
would also like to ask you to contact me and tell me where i can
find the recolours so that I can inform people where they can
find more recolours.
-Can I clone your objects? No. Sorry, I've spent plenty of
time and efford to make them. All items in Sims Interior Designs
may not be cloned or redistributed.
Donation items are under the copyright of Sims Interior Designs
and may NOT be cloned, recolored or redistributed in any way,
It is also NOT allowed to share the items on this site via email
(filesharing).
-Can I use your creations for screenshots? Yes, as long as
you give me credit with a link to Sims Interior Designs and as
long as you don't offer any of my creations for download without
recoloring them, you can use them in the screenshots.
The
pictures and files of this site may not be linked directly to
show them or download them from outside this site. (Hotlinking)

If
it wasn't for the hard work of some amazing people in this community,
there would be no new objects for The Sims 2. All the objects
were created using SimPE, MeshTool and Colour Options Enabler.
Thank you Quaxi, Delphy, RGiles, Miche and Numenor. Also special
thanks the ModTheSims2 for all their contribution to the sims
community.
